Supported Data Sources

Overview of all data sources Klairr supports — warehouses, product analytics, CRM, finance, and SaaS tools.

Klairr connects directly to your data sources and queries them in real time. Your data stays in your infrastructure — Klairr never copies or replicates it.

Data warehouses & databases

  • Google BigQuery — SQL-based queries against any table in your BigQuery dataset. Setup guide →
  • Snowflake — SQL-based queries against any database, schema, or table in your Snowflake account.
  • Amazon Redshift — AWS data warehouse.
  • PostgreSQL — relational database, self-hosted or managed.
  • MySQL — the world’s most popular open-source database.
  • Microsoft SQL Server — enterprise relational database.
  • Databricks — lakehouse and Unity Catalog.

Every database connector includes:

  • Automatic schema introspection (tables, columns, types, descriptions)
  • Read-only enforcement — DML commands (INSERT, UPDATE, DELETE, DROP) are blocked at the platform level
  • Per-user and per-role spend limits
  • Query cost estimation before execution

Product analytics

  • Mixpanel — event analytics in plain English using Mixpanel’s JQL query language. Setup guide →
  • Segment — customer data platform; events flow to Klairr via your destination of choice.
  • Google Analytics — web and app analytics (GA4).

CRM, finance, and SaaS tools

  • Salesforce — CRM, pipeline, and sales data.
  • HubSpot — marketing and sales platform.
  • Stripe — payments and revenue data.
  • Jira — project and issue tracking.
  • Google Sheets — spreadsheet data.

Custom sources via MCP

Klairr supports MCP (Model Context Protocol) for connecting any custom data source. MCP lets you expose your own APIs, internal tools, or proprietary databases as Klairr-compatible data sources.

Multi-source intelligence

When you have multiple data sources, Klairr automatically picks the best one for each question based on schema relevance scoring. You can also:

  • Manual mode — choose the data source yourself
  • Recommend mode — Klairr suggests a source, you confirm
  • Auto mode (default) — Klairr selects automatically

Questions can even span multiple sources when the answer requires data from more than one.

Security

All connectors use read-only connections:

  • DML blocking — INSERT, UPDATE, DELETE, DROP are blocked at the platform level
  • Credentials encrypted — stored with AES-256-GCM encryption, never logged or displayed after setup
  • Spend controls — per-query and daily byte limits enforced by role
  • Production warnings — connectors querying live production databases are flagged with a warning badge
